Robin Williams Johnson
January 12, 1962 - March 22, 2024
Robin Williams Johnson, 62, died peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her loved ones by her side.
The native of Hardeeville, SC was a longtime resident of Savannah was born on January 12, 1962 to Horace Dayton Williams, Sr., and the late Elleanora Fleming Williams.
Robin loved to laugh. She was kind, brave, caring, and generous. She was formerly employed by KFC in Pooler. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
In addition to her mother, Robin was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Williams; her maternal grandparents, Nora Purvis Fleming and Charles Phillip Fleming of Ridgeland, SC; paternal grandparents, Lovis Gnann Williams and John Franklin Williams of Hardeeville, SC; and a nephew, Jeremy Shane Williams of Savannah.
She is survived by four children, Gordon Dixon (Brandy), Sheena Dixon, Roxanne Esch (Greg De Haese), and Eddie Esch (Heather); three sisters, Virginia Sasser (Alan), Patricia Pancoast (Bobby), Debby Jones (Johnathon); two brothers, Charlie, and Ronald Williams; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service was held. Robin was laid to rest in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
A candle has been lit!
